About Dave Askew
Dave, an Englishman by birth, moved to Minnesota in 2003. Growing up, he spent every weekend chasing Zander, Pike & Perch across Europe dialing in the finesse methods used across the pond.
Fishing lakes, reservoirs, rivers and canals, Dave developed a wide array of techniques for catching big fish before he moved to the USA. After moving here, he quickly fell in love with Mille Lacs, spending countless hours learning and catching the many species Mille Lacs has to offer.
Dave in 2021 & 2022 dipped his toes into competitive fishing and entered a few tournaments and quickly became addicted. 2023 was David's first full season fishing competitively for walleye, and in the MTT, won 3 times, and finished in the top 5 consistently. This earned David the coveted Team Of The Year award in his first full season.
For 2024, David will be fishing the Minnesota Tournament Trail, Aim Weekend Walleye Series & National Walleye Tour. For a limited time only, he's offering his English accent for free when you book a trip!
