Born and raised in the borderland, I started fishing Rainy Lake in 1973. I have been guiding periodically with the family business - Rainy Lake Guiding, since 1998. As a fifth grade teacher for the last thirty-three years, I have developed the ability to teach both young and old the keys to catching fish. I have a strong background in all species of Rainy Lake fish; however I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion of Voyageurs National Park.

Scott uses a 2023 620 Ranger with an 250 hp Mercury. He also uses Garmin and Hummingbird electronics, and the newest Ulterra Minn Kota.
